1. According to the processing requirements and the material of the workpiece, select the appropriate grinding paste and grinding device. Commonly used grinders are blocks and plates made of glass, cast iron, steel, aluminum, plexiglass and other materials, water-soluble grinding pastes for diluents, water or glycerin, and kerosene for oil-soluble grinding pastes.

Precautions for the use of abrasive paste:

2. Diamond/(cubic boron nitride) grinding is a kind of precision machining. During the processing, the environment and tools must be cleaned. The tools used must be specific to each particle size and must not be mixed.

3. During the processing, the workpiece must be cleaned carefully, and then replaced with another size of abrasive paste, so as not to mix the coarse particles in the previous process into the fine particle abrasive paste and scratch the workpiece.

4. When using, squeeze a small amount of grinding paste into the container or directly on the grinding device, and then dilute it with water, glycerin or kerosene. The ratio of water to paste is 1:1, and it can also be adjusted according to site usage. With a small amount of water, add glycerin as the particle size increases.
